Don Barnett (Doc to all of us who know him) is a Little Rock native and attended Little Rock McClellan High School. He attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello, graduate school at Texas Tech University and Veterinary Medical School at Mississippi State University.
Don has been practicing his medical expertise since 1990 at Cantrell Animal Clinic. His special interest is in Pathology, Dentistry, Surgery and native wildlife medicine.
When Doc is not in the clinic, you can find him most of the time with Jane, his wife, at their cabin on the White River flyfishing. If he isn’t there, he is most likely searching to the next whitetail or big bearded turkey all across the south with his bow and quiver of arrows.
Doc is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Pulaski County Veterinary Medical Society.
Doc and Jane have two wonderful daughters, one grandson, and many pets all around their home.
